If your domain is currently pointing to a site on another host, then these instructions should allow you to point your domain to your Website Pro site, with zero downtime. These less specific Domain Transfer Instructions<\/a> might be more helpful if your DNS records<\/a> are not managed in GoDaddy. Follow these new domain connection instructions<\/a> if you are not transfering your domain from a previous host.<\/p>\n

Part 1: Configuring your Website Pro Site<\/h2>\n

  1. Log into Website Pro and navigate to the Domains<\/b> tab<\/li>\n
  2. Click Connect a Domain<\/b><\/li>\n
  3. Enter the domain name you purchased. Click Add Domain.<\/b><\/li>\n
  4. Your domain will show up in the table and it will be marked\u00a0p<\/strong>ending <\/b>while Website Pro gets ready to handle requests on that domain. This should take a minute.<\/li>\n
  5. When it can handle requests on that domain it will appear\u00a0disconnected<\/strong> because Website Pro can detect that your DNS records have not been updated. Once you followed the steps in Part 2 it should become\u00a0connected<\/strong>.\n
