Website Pro has a built-in dashboard that displays highlights\u00a0of your site’s visitor information using\u00a0Google Analytics.<\/a>\u00a0However, we understand that you may want to dig deeper using your own account. That’s why Website Pro provides an easy way to do just that.<\/p>\n

Note: Plugins meant to support Google Analytics are available, but these often fail to track gather data in the Website Pro environment.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

How to add your own Google Analytics account:<\/h2>\n

  1. Sign up<\/a> for Google Analytics and configure it for your site, or just log in if you’ve already completed that step.<\/li>\n
  2. Click Admin<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Select your site’s account from the menu in the ACCOUNT<\/em> column<\/li>\n
  4. Select a property from the menu in the PROPERTY<\/em> column<\/li>\n
  5. Under\u00a0PROPERTY<\/em>, click\u00a0Tracking Info > Tracking Code<\/strong>. Your\u00a0tracking ID<\/a>\u00a0is displayed at the top of the page<\/li>\n
  6. Copy that Tracking ID<\/li>\n
  7. Sign into to your Website Pro site’s WordPress admin panel<\/li>\n
  8. Navigate to\u00a0Settings > General Code<\/strong>\u00a0and scroll to the bottom<\/li>\n
  9. Paste that Tracking ID into the\u00a0Custom Google Analytics Tracking ID<\/strong> and click Save Changes<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please keep in mind that this ID will run concurrently with Website Pro’s built-in analytic tracking, which will remain on the Website Pro dashboard.<\/p>\n
